CSEA

Updated: Oct 1, 2021

This is a message from the State Water Resources Control Board.

The Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) is announcing an opportunity for laboratories to develop and validate method(s) for the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board’s Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program. The Program is soliciting laboratories to develop and validate new or alternative methods for the detection of imidacloprid in whole water (unfiltered) samples from surface waters and wastewater effluent. The attached request letter identifies specific requirements that the laboratory’s modified or developed method must meet as part of the validation package. Please feel free to share this request with other interested parties. Laboratories interested in participating should review the attached letter and reach out to the listed contacts for further information. Note that validation packages submitted by 24 December 2021 will be given priority for review and approval.
