ELAP updates FOA for hazardous waste and drinking water

In response to a request from the Division of Drinking Water and in coordination with the Underground Storage Tank programs and the Department of Toxic Substances Control, the Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) updated its field of accreditation (FOA) offerings for hazardous waste and drinking water analysis. ELAP updated the following offerings in FOA Table(s) 102, 105, 114, 116, 117, 130, 132, and 133. In response to requests from the Division of Drinking Water, the following FOAs were added: Table 102: Inorganic Chemistry in Drinking Water

In coordination with the Department of Toxic Substances Control, the Underground Storage Tank programs, and with assistance from our laboratory community, FOA tables 114, 116, 117, 130, 132, and 133 have all received additional analytes and methods. Laboratories are encouraged to review the updated FOA tables to identify if any changes have the potential to affect their future applications. Selected highlights are described below.
