Drinking Water Laboratories invitation













You are invited to participate in the Division of Drinking Water’s CLIP End-to-End Workflow Laboratory Training at the end of March. Note, we are offering the same session twice (dates/times below) and you only need to click the link and register for the one you can attend.


Register for Monday, March 29 (9:00 am – 12:00 pm PT)

Register for Tuesday, March 30 (1:00 pm – 4:00 pm PT)


These training sessions are meant to be relatively hands-on and will also be recorded and made available after the fact. The approximate agenda for both sessions is as follows:

  1. Introduction and Overview

    • Training Logistics

    • CLIP Workflow Overview

    • EDP Terminology

    • Access and Register EDP Standalone

  2. 10 Minute Break

  3. Check Data - EQuIS Data Processor (EDP)

    • Open EDP formats and EDDs

    • Error Logs

    • Resolve Errors

    • Saving and Preparing Data Files

  4. 10 Minute Break

  5. Submit Data - CLIP Online

    • EDP Requirements

    • EDD Upload and Status


Post-Training Q&A Sessions

We will provide several 1-hour open Q&A sessions the week of April 5th, and we are happy to answer any questions we did not get to during the training (or new questions you have). The session date and times are below and will be hosted in Microsoft Teams (meeting details TBA). You may attend any session you are available for, and we’ll provide further information during the training sessions.

By next week, we will have the CLIP Resource webpage updated with the most recent information. Once this has been completed, we will send an email to you with all the pertinent information including registration details and CLIP reference files.
