The California Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program and the Conference Steering Committee is excited to host its first ever conference! We have received an overwhelming response from the laboratory community and look forward to hosting an engaging, informative, virtual onlyevent this June 1 - 3, 2021. The theme of the event is “Quality Through Collaboration,” and in that spirit we are soliciting the environmental community to submit abstracts for potential oral presentations. Submissions should fit into one of the two following categories: Tomorrow’s Laboratory Science or Laboratory Efficiency. Examples include, but are not limited to:
Microplastics
PFAS
eDNA
ddPCR
Legionella testing
Efficiency culture
5S/Six Sigma
Creative use of limited resources
Building a Quality Management System
Implementing robotics and other advanced technologies

Submissions are due by April 6th, 2021 and should be emailed with the subject line “ELAP Conference Abstract Submission” tojennifer.mcclaren@waterboards.ca.gov and katlin.bloom@waterboards.ca.gov. Abstracts submitted after the deadline are not guaranteed to be reviewed due to time constraints. We look forward to hearing from you!
