C. dubia Study: Stakeholder Advisory Committee Meeting

This is a message from the California Water Quality Monitoring Council.

Dear Stakeholders and Interested Parties,

The Stakeholder Advisory Committee for the Development of Quality Assurance Recommendations for the Ceriodaphnia dubia Toxicity Test (Ceriodaphnia dubia Study) will meet on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm (Pacific Time). As a result of the COVID-19 emergency, the meeting will occur solely via remote presence (Zoom).

The meeting agenda and Zoom registration information will be available approximately one week before the meeting on the “Ceriodaphnia Toxicity Testing Quality Assurance” webpage on the Southern California Coastal Water Research Project website at:

The Stakeholder Advisory Committee consists of representatives from various sectors, including regulated entities, government agencies, toxicity testing laboratories, and non-governmental organizations. John Wheeler will soon end his service with the State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) and will no longer serve as the representative for the state government on the Stakeholder Advisory Committee. Mr. Wheeler’s position on the Stakeholder Advisory Committee will be filled by Katie Fong, of the State Water Board. To ensure a smooth transition, both Mr. Wheeler and Ms. Fong will attend the February 23, 2022 Stakeholder Advisory Committee meeting.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact John Wheeler at John.Wheeler@waterboards.ca.gov, and Katie Fong at Katie.Fong@waterboards.ca.gov.
