We are all learning new techniques of working. This training is to help organizations when staff is working from outside the operational locations. The three trainings provide:
Class 1:Â An introduction to doing work outside the operational location,
Class 2:Â Performing assessments of organizations by accreditation bodies, and
Class 3: How the organization can prepare for an off-site (remote) assessment, audit or client visit.Â
The training includes the process of planning, conducting and reporting assessment and audits using Information Communication Technology (ICT). The trainer has over ten years experience in performing audits, assessments and consulting using ICT and this experience will be shared with the attendees. Each class is being offered as a separate registration. Class 1: Introduction to Information Communication Technology This part of the training reviews the basics of performing remote activities using Information Communication Technology (ICT). The types of activities that can be explored by organizations will be reviewed. The do’s and don’ts of doing work remotely (not in an office setting) will be shared. This includes working from home or remote, auditing from home and doing assessments from home. Tips for a successful activity are shared.
Class 2:Â Accreditation Body Assessments - Remote
The International Accreditation Forum (IAF) has developed an Informational Document (ID12) for purposes of performing remote assessments by accreditation bodies. The ID-12 document will be presented along with practical experience. The fundamentals of the activities that can be performed using Information Communication Technology (ICT) will be explored.Â
With over ten years of experience performing remote assessments, the instructor will provide examples of activities that work and items that do not work. This part is focused on accreditation body activities.
Class 3:Â Laboratory and Client Audits - Remote
This part will review how the lab can prepare and work with an accreditation body and others to conduct remote activities using Information Communication Technology (ICT). Activities to be explored are:Â
  (1) internal audit activities of multi-location facilities,
  (2) lab personnel preparation for remote accreditation body assessments, and
  (3) client visits/audits of testing activities.

About the Presenter: Marlene Moore
Marlene Moore founded Advanced Systems, Inc. in February 1992 as a consulting company specializing in quality systems for laboratory and sampling operations. She brings together the needs of quality system management, measurement operations and regulatory compliance.
Marlene Moore has worked and managed sampling and testing laboratories for over twenty years before providing her expertise to others. Current work includes assessing for laboratory accreditation programs to ISO/IEC 17025 and assessing to ISO/IEC 17065 for conformity assessment certification programs. Assessments are performed for A2LA, ANAB and ANSI. Additional assessor and auditor training was completed under the EPA Safe Drinking Water Program for State certification laboratory auditors for inorganic, organic and microbiology and as an ISO auditor for ISO 9000. Formerly an RAB ASQ/ANSI registered auditor.
