Cyanotoxins update

INITIATION OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF NOTIFICATION AND RESPONSE LEVELS FOR FOUR CYANOTOXINS: MICROCYSTINS, CYLINDROSPERMOPSIN, ANATOXIN-A, AND SAXITOXIN
The Division of Drinking Water (DDW) has initiated the process of developing notification and response levels for four cyanotoxins: microcystins, cylindrospermopsin, anatoxin-a, and saxitoxin.
Notification and response levels have not been proposed. DDW made a formal request for recommendations to the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) on February 4, 2021.
